Our Partners
We are an independent charity working with Chester Cathedral, Chester Diocese and the Church Urban Fund linked by faith and driven to tackle poverty, loneliness and social inequality.

Chester Cathedral
We are thrilled to be in partnership with Chester Cathedral as part of their vision for outreach. Founded as a Benedictine Abbey in 1092, the cathedral has a rich history, a vibrant community of worship, a cultural hub in the city and a diverse and exciting future. Its mission is to celebrate God’s presence and to embrace the community whilst ensuring the survival of this cathedral for future generations. Transforming Lives Together has a creative and effective partnership with the Cathedral which meet our joint aims of physical and spiritual transformation, including hosting a Place of Welcome and with representation on our Board of Trustees.

Chester Diocese
Transforming Lives Together has a longstanding, productive relationship with Chester Diocese and its many parish churches. We regularly meet to share information and resources and have diocesan representation on our Board of Trustees. We specifically work in partnership with the mission and outreach teams. Transforming Lives Together works across a large geographical area, including the 11 local authorities that lie within the Diocese.

Church Urban Fund
The Church Urban Fund (CUF) has been active in local communities for almost 40 years. Their vision is to see people and communities all over England flourish and enjoy life in all its fullness. Their aim to tackle complex challenges like poverty, social inequality and exclusion by mobilising people, churches and whole communities to make a positive difference. CUF works through the Church of England’s local parishes, and alongside other secular and faith-based organisations including Transforming Lives Together, to bring about positive change in neighbourhoods.
