Christian Listening Training
This autumn and winter TLT facilitated the "Acorn Active Christian Listening Course" over 3 days.
Everybody needs a jolly good listening to—and we see every day just how transformative it can be. In recognition of this, and of the vital opportunities our projects create for people to be heard and supported, we were delighted to offer volunteers from our Places of Welcome, Filling the Gap projects, and across the Diocese of Chester the chance to take part in an Acorn Active Christian Listening Course.
These courses have been a real success. Not only have they strengthened listening skills across our network, they have also opened doors to new relationships with individuals and churches we had not previously worked with. In total, more than 63 people from over 40 churches were trained—equipping communities across the diocese with skills that make a lasting difference.
