At Transforming Lives Together we’re connected to our community though knowledgeable and passionate local volunteers in a very hands-on way. We work to tackle poverty, loneliness and social inequality at ground level and your donation will really help us. Our projects start small, often with seed funding, and then grow and flourish. Anyone managing on a tight budget will tell you how important the pennies are. It’s the same for donations. Whether it’s pennies or pounds, anything you give will make a big difference. Because we only work at a local level there are no big overheads and you can be sure that every penny you give us will be made to count.

Training unaccessible without funding

Over 3800 meals and a welcome space
These projects tackle holiday hunger with free lunches and fun activities, keeping children engaged and families connected. In 2025, our small grants scheme with ‘Meals & More’ has funded over 3,800 meals and providing a welcoming space for those who need it most.

Healthy eating and learning new skills
“The greatest encouragement was seeing children make new friends, learn new skills and simply enjoy playing together. Many families told us how much receiving a healthy lunch, especially all the fruit, helped them during the holidays. One mum said her child never tries fruit or vegetables at home, but eating alongside other children encouraged him to be adventurous and discover he actually does like them!”

Safe place to be seen and heard
